FREE Dance Taster Session – Thurs 29th Sept 2022

 Greenwich Morris will be back this autumn at 8.00pm @MycenaeHouse 90 Mycenae Rd, SE3 7SE. Any men interested in giving this a go are more than welcome to join us. Please come along…we’ll buy your a beer, too.

We dance traditional Morris dances mainly from the Cotswold area to the accompaniment of concertinas, melodeons and accordions.

We are based in Greenwich but we regularly dance further afield into North West Kent.

The summer season is now (mostly) over and so now is the ideal time to give morris dancing a try, ready for dancing out in public next year. Feel free to come along and see what it’s all about…you never know, there might even be a free beer involved. No experience required.

We practice at Mycenae House, Blackheath, SE3 7SE (meet in the bar for 8pm). We are a small but very friendly side who would welcome new members – dancers or musicians.

Following the Dawn Dance on May 1st, we perform mainly outside pubs and we travel to join other sides for weekends of frivolity!

We usually meet on Thursdays and the season continues until mid September. We guarantee a very warm welcome at any time.
